About

Profile_02Welcome to my website. I teach and study writing at Purdue University. My primary scholarly interests are environmental rhetoric and pedagogies, digital rhetorics, and writing program administration. I am currently one of the mentor’s for Purdue’s writing program, and teach a graduate seminar on composition theory and practice. It’s primarily a jWPA position, as I’m responsible for developing the curriculum new instructors use in their classrooms, acting as intermediary between the faculty WPA and my group of instructors, helping shape program policies to reflect the needs of both new instructors and Purdue students.

Take a look at my pedagogy and curriculum page for a closer look at what my writing classrooms look like, and visit my current research page for a summary of my dissertation work.
